Guardians of Middle Earth adds another new character, the spooky Barrow-wight Lord

There’s a new Guardians of Middle Earth playable character in town, and this guy could float through your wall and watch you on the toilet. Yeah, he’s a bit weird like that.

If you remember ghosts that attacked our four merry hobbits during the first book (they don’t appear in the film, in fact the entire Tom Bombadil storyline is cut from the big screen) then you’ll be familiar with this guy. He’s the Barrow-wight Lord, “a powerful remnant of a stalwart line of Men, banished to the Barrow-downs while living, his power was great, but in death he bears greater power with little resemblance to his original human form.” In other words, you don’t want to run into this guy in a dark alley.

As well as his ability to watch you on the toilet he can steal life from any player he targets. He’ll also steal 160 MS points off you if you want him, although Guardians season pass holders will get this character for free without having to surrender any points. This is the last character under that season pass, who knows if Warner Bros are creating anymore?
