Zone of the Enders HD Collection receives some new screenshots at San Diego Comic-Con

Hideo Kojima’s classic title about giant, manned mech suits engaging in robotic fisticuffs across the galaxy has received a brand new batch of screenshots at today’s Comic-Con event.
Zone of the Enders is the latest old skool game to get the HD makeover, and although a release date is still yet to be announced, fans of the originals (myself included) will no doubt be salivating over the gorgeously detailed (oh god, the detail!) Orbital Frames and battle arenas in this buffed-up version.
Konami seem to like giving their back catalogue a bit of spit and polish, but after the relatively large fail that was the Silent Hill HD Collection, we’re hoping Kojima’s original ZOE-vision gets the treatment and respect it duly deserves.
