Unlock bonus Darksiders II gear by playing the first game

If you’re getting excited about the imminent release of Vigil’s Darksiders sequel (let’s face it, who isn’t!) then you’d do well to pick up a copy of the original game, if you don’t already own it.
Vigil are rewarding players of Darksiders 1 with some cool unlockable stuff in the new game, including some level five armour called Pauldron of the Horseman. This legendary armour boosts all of Death’s stats and critical damage, and is unlocked simply by playing the first game for a bit.
The Chaos Fang is a damage-increasing scythe, and is available for all those who managed to complete Darksiders 1.
Darksiders 2 is out on the 21st of August 2012.
