Ubisoft set the sails of Assassin’s Creed 3

Ubisoft have also been busy at Gamescom this year. They introduced us to a new side of Assassin’s Creed, naval warfare.
As Conner, you are captaining an 18th century vessel, armed to the teeth with cannons and men, sailing the Caribbean. You have full control of all aspects of the ship, speed, direction and weapons as you strive to survive English attacks.
During the commentary from the developers during their presentation, an interesting detail was revealed. The sea conditions and weather are totally dynamic, and can, and most likely will, change from still to stormy swells from minute to minute, ramping up the difficulty while trying to keep your head above water.
I’ve seen the demo that Ubisoft played the audience during the showcase and the only thing I found odd, was that the deckhands, during the larger swells, were perfectly motionless on deck. Now, when is the shipping forecast on?
