Time for some Rumours: Assassins Creed 2

The guys at Joystiq.com seem to know really lucky People.
They have unearthed some Information about the second part of the Assassins Creed trilogy.
As was hinted at by an employee of Ubisoft a while ago the main character seems to be able to swim now. Other clues hint at the setting being in Italy during the 15th century and that disguises play a role in successful hiding. Also, the use of gunpowder is mentioned.
Do we get to see a gunslinging Altair?
So far it all sounds very nice and I am quite curious about the second game. I loved the first Assassins Creed.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the metastory pans out in this series, although I hope they add a bit more variety to the missions compared to the first one.
