THQ cancels Del Toro’s InSane

Struggling games publisher THQ announced yesterday in a call to investors, that they have cancelled all work on Guillermo Del Toro’s horror game, InSane. Del Toro had been working with Saints Row developer, Volition Inc when InSane was revealed way back in 2010, but THQ have now given all rights to the horror, originally slated to be a trilogy, back to the Hellboy & Pan’s Labyrinth director.

It’s the second game THQ have pulled this year, as they had earlier announced they would not be publishing Devil’s Third, a Tomonobu Itagaki creation. Here’s a taste of what could have been, another game consigned to the ideas bin.
