The Witcher 3:Wild Hunt has been announced, appearing on the cover of Game Informer magazine’s March issue.

CD Project Red promises a world “30 times bigger than The Witcher 2” and promise it will even surpass Skyrim with the help of their newly touted REDengine 3, while still maintaining the staples that has made it so popular with fans: political intrigue, interesting characters and a non linear plot.

Reading between the lines provides hints that the main character, Geralt, may not survive past the ending credits as he is described as a “tired hero” who wants to stop fighting but can’t until everything is set right.

The game is said to be coming in 2014 to “PC and all high-end platforms available” which seems to be as close as we’re going to get to a next-gen announcement for now.
