Terraria is coming to XBLA

The PC block-building game Terraria is coming to Xbox Live Arcade during early 2013, publisher 505 Games has announced.
The side scroller, which requires players to craft items and explore their surroundings was originally released on PC last year. It’s very similar to Minecraft, if you’ve not played it before.
Head of global brand at 505 Games, Tim Woodley said:
“The block-building genre has taken the world by storm and Terraria has garnered a massive following through its increased focus on adventure and discovery. We’re looking forward to bringing an already hugely successful experience to a brand new console audience and we can’t wait for the existing Terraria fan base to experience all-new content.”
We’re also promised some new features, so who knows what that could include.
