Starbreeze Studios are trying something a little different

The company behind The Chronicles of Riddick, The Darkness and Syndicate have released a gameplay trailer of their latest title Brothers: a Tale of Two Sons and it’s not nearly as dark and gritty as you’d expect.
The game, announced last September, has a Fable like quality to it, especially in the art style. You control the older of two brothers through a fairy tale, as you search for the “water of life” in the hope of curing your sick Father.
The two brothers contrast each other quite a bit; the older one is more responsible and mature, while the younger one would rather pull a girls pig-tails than help her. Though both are needed to traverse the woods and mountains, the game is said to be an emotional experience akin to Limbo or Journey. It is also said to be 3-4 hours long.
This interesting adventure game is to be released next spring on the XBLA.
