Spawn eggs introduced in Minecraft update 9

4J Studios has released the first screenshot for its forthcoming title update 9 for Minecraft. The picture contains a menu of the usual Minecraft items, except now we have some spawn eggs present.
Spawn eggs spawn friendly and enemy mobs from creepers to cows. Unfortunately Ocelots and jungle biomes won’t be in title update 9, but we can expect them in a future update, which will wet your appetite.
The developer tweeted: “We’re hard at work on TU9, still lots to do.” The new Minecraft update will release as early as next month.
