Skyrim: Dawnguard beta open to applicants

With word of Skyrim’s new Dawnguard DLC finally being confirmed, there’s a lot of buzz around the first add-on to what is already such a huge game (I’m sure everybody knows how much of a time sink it can be), but with the release date simply set to a very vague and simple summer, there looks to be a long wait.
However, for those dying to get their already callused hands on Dawnguard as early as possible, you’re in luck! Bethesda is now accepting applications for the beta, which not only means you’ll have the chance to play Dawnguard before anyone else, but you’ll also get the full version for free!
The official Bethesda blog had this to say:
“Visit DawnguardBeta.ElderScrolls.com to apply. The process should only take a couple minutes, but make sure to fill out all the information accurately. Applicants need registered account on our official forums and you’ll want to make sure your forum email address is updated, We will be selecting applicants in about a week. Players accepted into the beta will receive an Xbox LIVE code to redeem Dawnguard. The beta is the full version (complete with Xbox LIVE achievements) and those participating will not have to purchase the content.”
So there you have it, if your a Skyrim fan (and really who isn’t) then jump at this chance!
