Sacred’s universe returns with Sacred Citadel

Can you remember that game called Sacred 2: Fallen Angel? Well, we’re about to return to the franchise again, with Sacred Citadel.
In Citadel we see three characters pull together to form an alliance in Ancaria. It’s your job to fight evil forces, including the Grimmoc, a modified Orc army created by Lord Zane’s Ashen Empire, who are at war with the Seraphim.
Characters come with their own individual skills across three classes: Safiri Warrior, Ancarian Ranger and the Khukuri Shaman.
Other features include dual-wielding weapons, performing double jumps, riding mounts and using war machines to cause devastation. There will also be shops for you to sell your precious loot or buy a new blade.
Another exciting inclusion is three player drop-in/drop-out co-op, where friends or random players can help out. A prologue story leading to the events of Sacred 3 will also be included.
Both games are due out some time next year, with Sacred Citadel coming to Xbox Live Arcade.
