I know what you’re thinking, and no, not the pop star of questionable clothes taste, but Rhianna Pratchett, daughter of fantasy novelist Terry Pratchett has been revealed as lead writer on the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot from Crystal Dynamics.
Having contributed to such titles as Mirror’s Edge, Prince of Persia and Overlord, Rhianna is no stranger to the world of video game storytelling.
The virtual Patrician at Crystal Dynamics, Darrell Gallagher had this to say;
(Rhianna) has been working on the narrative since its early inception and has brought a depth and credability to Lara.
Pratchett will be appearing at two Tomb Raider panels at the San Diego Comic Con this weekend.
Tomb Raider is scheduled for release on the 5th of March 2013, for a reminder of what’s in store, check out the video below.
