Rapper Daz Dillinger accuses Rockstar of using tracks without consent
American rapper Daz Dillinger has accused Rockstar for featuring two of his tracks in Grand Theft Auto V “without paying him a cent”.
TMZ reports that the hip hop artist demands a “better offer” or all unsold copies of the game to be recalled or destroyed.
Dillinger apparently refused Rockstar’s “offensively low offer of $4,271.00” for the use of tracks “C-Walk” and “Nothin’ But the Cavi Hit”, which were both featured on the West Coast Classics radio station.
Rockstar have 14 days to reach an agreement with Daz Dillinger, which shouldn’t be a problem considering the success of the title so far.
