Oingo Boingo, Rock Band go for the science angle for next week’s DLC

Rock Band look to be running out of songs for their weekly DLC. That’s if the latest announcement for next week is anything to go by. Up this week are two tracks from the annuls of the ’80s.

First up, from the 1985 album, Dead Man’s Party and led by legendary film-score composer Danny Elfman, we have Oingo Boingo with “Weird Science”. This was the title track to the kooky film of the same name, starring Kelly LeBrock, Bill Paxton and Robert Downey Jr which was written and directed by John Hughes. This offering also has the optional Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansion for the usual 80 MS Points as well as keyboard support.

Second and finally for this week, Toto’s “Rosanna”, taken from the 1982 album, Toto IV will have support for the keyboard. There ae some who believe that this was named after Rosanna Arquette, who the keyboard player was dating at the time. This was coincidence, apparently.

Each track will cost 160 MS Points and should be released on the 12th of March.

  • Oingo Boingo – Weird Science
  • Toto – Rosanna
