No plans for single player Tomb Raider DLC say Crystal Dynamics

Tomb Raider easily has one of the most engrossing campaign story lines of recent games and with a whole host of DLC on its way for the not so engrossing multiplayer mode, you’d be forgiven for thinking Crystal Dynamics were planning to extend the story even further.

However, there’s bad news if you were waiting for more. Crystal Dynamics have confirmed that all upcoming DLC will be entirely multiplayer focused.

Global brand director Karl Stewart jumped onto Reddit, every developers source of choice in recent months, to explain their decision.

“There are currently no plans in place for any single-player expansions, All of our DLC is based around the multiplayer experience for now.”

Tomb Raider this week added the Caves and Cliffs pack, Included with the Xbox 360-exclusive expansion are three multiplayer maps: Scavenger Caverns, Cliff Shantytown, and Burning Village.
