New The Walking Dead title called Survival Instinct

Activision have finally come up with an official name for its upcoming FPS title based on The Walking Dead series. It will now be called “The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct”.
Currently in development at Terminal Reality, the game will follow Daryl and Merle Dixon, who we all know from the TV series. In what proves to be an attempt to reach Atlanta, it’s your job to survive the journey there and help one another and even survivors along the way.
Activision describes the title as “a do-whatever-you-need-to-survive first-person action game that brings the deep, character-driven world of AMC’s Emmy Award-winning TV series onto console gaming systems and the PC in a frightening, new way. The game puts players in the role of the mysterious, crossbow-wielding survivor Daryl Dixon, alongside his overbearing brother Merle, on a haunting, unforgiving quest across the Georgia countryside to reach the supposed safety of Atlanta.”
I’m very excited for this, after all I’m a massive Walking Dead fan. The title also sounds very appropiate for the series.
