New and free multiplayer content coming soon for Driver: San Francisco

DLC is great when done well, providing extra content for beloved games at a small price. How often do you find yourself buying a new game then discovering a week later that you have to pay 800-1200 points to unlock some DLC that was already located on the game disc anyhow? It’s frustrating and certainly leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
Good news for Driver: San Francisco fans! Ubisoft has bucked this trend by offering free multiplayer content!
On September 15th, 12 new routes for all online modes will be made available for free. Then for the following 10 weeks, 1 new route will be released resulting in, yes you guessed it, 10 new routes in all.
Besides the free content, a new community service online has been unveiled as of now.
Driver Club will allow players to check out their stats and position on the online leaderboard, unlock exclusive achievements, showcase their film director clips, see other people’s clips, review community facts and follow their friends’ activities using the Driver Social feed.
Driver Club is available now at http://www.driver-club.ubi.com/ for all players with a Uplay account.
About Jennifer Allen
Jen's been playing games for longer than she can remember (20 odd years) and has been writing about them for 4 years. In her spare time she likes to pretend she can train her guinea pigs to do tricks. She should stick to chocobos.
