Billy Murray, who soap fans (pun not intended) may remember as Eastenders gangster Johnny Allen, let slip to someone he didn’t know was a games journalist that he was in talks to reprise his role as Captain Price in the Modern Warfare series.
Yeah, on Monday I am off to meet Infinity Ward about the next game, Modern Warfare 4, I’m doing work on the sequel to Modern Warfare 3, it carries straight on and I only ever appear in the Modern Warfare games…
Well there you have it. Hardly a confirmation (one must wonder if Mr Murray will get a slap on the wrist for letting this slip) but it certainly confirms that it is at least in the works, to the surprise of no-one I’m sure.
Billy Murray is said to be heading to Infinity Ward on the 5th November to discuss his future with the company.
