Developer 4J studios has revealed that the bug fix Minecraft update for 1.7.3 could finally be hitting the Xbox 360 platform before the 9th of August.
Minecraft developer Stuart Ross said the following:
“We’re hoping sooner than a week, but it’s not in our control – we have to wait along with everyone else. There is an awful lot of stuff with the two. We may have to bring things forward but not all of it.”
This would seem to suggest that the update is still waiting the OK from Microsoft and that some elements of the already beta PC patch 1.8.2 and 1.9 will be included in this release too.
As ever, any release date is subject to change, but many fans of the game will be hoping that this date will finally signal the end of some of the more irritating bugs, like drowning with full oxygen. Look out Michael Phelps, oh…
