Microsoft has ordered the removal of a leaked Xbox 720 document uploaded to Scribd, which happened to appear on the internet last week.
The 56-page document contained details and ideas for the next generation Xbox, which included Xbox SmartGlass, Blu-ray support, 3D glasses and Kinect 2.
On the Scribd page it said the document was removed “at the request of Covington & Burling LLP,” an international law firm that provides a service for Microsoft.
Obviously, the company wanted to announce these features at a later date, possibly E3 2013. Personally I don’t blame them, since the Xbox is still selling well and there are new IPs being made all the time.
Leaks seem to occur before every major announcement anyway, so don’t expect this to be the last we hear from the Xbox 720.
