Microsoft – “More than two years left” for the Xbox 360

E32012 is almost over and we didn’t see a new console from Microsoft, but then again we didn’t really expect to see one anyway. On that note Microsoft has reiterated that they believe the Xbox 360 has a fair amount of time left, if Microsoft Studios boss Phil Spencer’s comments to Gamespot are anything to go by.
“Right now the Xbox 360 is really healthy and it’s doing incredibly well. I think the 360 has a lot more than two years [left]. It has legs for a long time.”
Spencer believes that technology such as the recently unveiled SmartGlass is lending extra life to the console, as well as all the new content on its way to the console in the coming year or so.
