London 2012 grabs the UK Chart gold

The official game of the London 2012 olympiad has stormed forth into the UK Chart top spot this week, bringing LEGO Batman 2‘s five-week reign to an abrupt end. We should’ve seen it coming really, but I incorrectly predicted that TT Games’ second title based on the adventures of the blocky Dark Knight would remain unchallenged for first position for at least another week. Elsewhere, Batman: Arkham City notches forward a few extra places from 7th to 5th, whilst WWE ’12, Battlefield 3 and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations make welcome re-entries.

About Jeff Barker
Jeff has been with the Xboxer360 team since April 2009. He is well known for his love of sandals and frequently exhibits Rainman-like behaviour, which is even more amazing now he's a Dad. He prefers third person action/adventure titles and RPG's, but will happily turn his hand to pretty much anything.
