Lionhead cut its staff by 10%

After a rather poor showing by Fable: The Journey, Lionhead Studios has suffered a number of layoffs, releasing 10 per cent of its staff.
Fable: The Journey entered the gaming chart at a disappointing 13th place. No wonder it’s often called an unlucky number.
A statement from Microsoft reads:
“Following the completion of Fable: The Journey, Lionhead Studios has begun work on its next projects. s is common in the games industry, a smaller headcount is needed as projects kick-off and ramp up as full-production gets underway. At this time a small number of positions have been identified as at risk of redundancy and the affected employees were notified today.”
Microsoft will work closely with those affected, by helping them find new jobs within Microsoft.
