Infinity Ward Lose Even More Staff

It appears that eight more of the Infinity Ward team have handed in their resignations, following reports that ex-colleagues Todd Alderman, Mackey McCandlish, Mark Grisby, John Paul Messerly, Chris Cherubini, Rayme Vinson and Jon Shiring have all joined the now notorious upstart Respawn Entertainment.
The IW stalkers at Kotaku and G4TV have pieced this information together from various inside sources, as well as via Facebook and LinkedIn social network profiles. The latest members of the Infinity Ward crew to jump ship are Mohamman Alavi, Chad Grenier, Brent McLeod, Jason McCord, Charlie Wiederhold, Keith Bell and Preston Glenn and programmer Chris Lambert.
After the very public but somewhat secretive sue and counter-sue battle between publishers Activision Blizzard and ex- Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella, it looks like the majority of Infinity Ward are showing their distaste at the situation by stepping down from their posts, although it hasn’t been confirmed as yet where the newly unemployed staff will go, although I’d wager that Jason and Vince’s HR team will get in touch with them.
While this may be a bad day for Activision and Infinity Ward, no doubt they will now be recruiting, so on the plus side if you have ever wanted to work for a world class games developer maybe its time to dust off the old CV.
