Indie Spotlight: This week’s Indie releases (1/2/2013)
Tucked away in a little corner of the Xbox Live Marketplace, the Indie Games section is a little haven for budding developers to show off their wares. This week we only have 5 new releases. Here’s a closer look at what is on offer.

BitzKreig – Hebridean productions

Element – LoneWolf Studios

Protect Our Base – CandelaCreations
A tower defence game with a twist, the enemy is coming, take cover, hide! Actually, no, place your defence units, including missile interceptors, RPG’s, turrets and health packs. Fight off the incoming tanks, helicopters, jets and more in this single player game with online leaderboards. 80 MS Points
Arcadecraft – firebase
Have you played the café games on Facebook? This is very similar to those in style, only this time, you are running your own games arcade. You start off in the arcade revolution of the 1980s. Customise your arcades, increase your popularity, manage your finances, avoid those “BurgerTime” doozies that might bankrupt you. 240 MS Points
And that, as they say, is that. Not much there this week, here’s hoping next week may offer us more in the way of releases.
