Get your hands on the wheel at GAME’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted lock-in

Ah, the lock-in, no longer the exclusive haunt of the friends of the landlord, following our recent Tomb Raider GAME lock-in article, the UK retailer has confirmed another series of lock-ins for Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

19 outlets across the country will host a knockout tournament, the winner of each will win a copy of the game and the three DLC packs that are available, Terminal Velocity, Movie Legends and NFS Heroes. They will also have the chance to take part in a time-trial event that will span all the participating stores.

You can register by popping into any of the stores below and letting them now you’d like to attend, or via the store’s own twitter account. These will be on a first come, first served basis.

GAME director, Dave Howard said:

“We know that there are some seriously talented Need For Speed fanatics out there, so what better way to celebrate the release of three exciting new expansion packs than with a good old-fashioned knockout tournament? There are some great prizes up for grabs and each lock-in will be a fun-filled night of bonding and banter. So if you think you have what it takes to be the UK’s Most Wanted, this is your chance.”

Here are the participating stores, hopefully, there’ll be one near you:

• March 10^th – Edinburgh, 6pm
• March 10^th – Westfield, 7pm
• March 12^th – Teeside, 6pm
• March 13^th – Ealing, 7pm
• March 13^th – Leeds, 8:30pm
• March 14^th – Reading, 8:30pm
• March 15^th – Norwich, 7pm
• March 15^th – Watford, 8pm
• March 17^th – Bullring, 6pm
• March 17^th – Bournemouth, 5:30pm
• March 17^th – Sheffield, 8:00pm
• March 17^th – Bluewater, 6pm
• March 17^th – Cardiff, 6pm
• March 19^th – Southampton, 8:30pm
• March 19^th – Nottingham, 7pm
• March 23^rd – Bristol, 7pm
• March 24^th – Manchester Arndale, 7pm
• March 24^th – Belfast, 7pm
• March 24^th – Thurrock, 6pm
  

So, if you fancy some pizza, pop and racing action, get yourself down to your nearest participating store, pretty sharpish.
