GAME runs out of Gears 3 beta codes

A lot of customers were left disappointed this week, when they didn’t receive their Gears of War 3 beta code from pre-ordering with GAME. Unfortunately the UK retailer has ran out of codes, but they have a new batch of codes coming through early next week.
GAME had this to say:
“We are currently awaiting the next shipment of codes which is due to arrive early next week. As soon as they arrive we will dispatch them to you. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
A spokesperson for GAME told Eurogamer that it’s expecting to receive them on Tuesday – after the Easter weekend.
It’s quite surprising that GAME ran out of codes, as surely more would have been supplied for such a highly anticipated title, that Gears of War 3 is.
The Gears 3 public multiplayer beta is due to run until 15th May.
