Full Def Jam: Rapstar tracklist revealed
![Full Def Jam: Rapstar tracklist revealed]()
The full Def Jam: Rapstar tracklist has finally been revealed, giving Hip-Hop heads young and old something to look forward to when the game finally releases on the 5th of November. Despite the game bearing the Def Jam name – for those not in the know, the Def Jam imprint is one of the most influental Hip-Hop labels around, spearheading artists like Method Man, Redman, LL Cool J, Run DMC and the Beastie Boys, among others – we were slightly skeptical that the game would tailor completely towards the more “commercial” side of the genre. Now don’t get us wrong, there are a few chart-busters in the list (Nelly’s “Hot In Herre” and “Get Low” by Lil’ Jon”), but it’s also great to see more serious Hip-Hop tracks included in the list, such as “Scenario” by A Tribe Called Quest, “C.R.E.A.M.” by Wu-Tang Clan, the old skool classic “Mama Said Knock You Out” by LL Cool J – before he went all big daddy and made songs for the ladies – and Snoop and Dre’s amazing “Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang”. The full list is included below, meaning Def Jam: Rapstar has now stampted itself firmly onto our “one to watch” list. If we had one. Word.

Jeff has been with the Xboxer360 team since April 2009. He is well known for his love of sandals and frequently exhibits Rainman-like behaviour, which is even more amazing now he's a Dad. He prefers third person action/adventure titles and RPG's, but will happily turn his hand to pretty much anything.
