EA, through their lengthy press conference at Gamescom, have confirmed that the new version of FIFA, FIFA 13 will have a demo version released on the 11th of September.
This demo will include the new Match Day feature that will enhance and affect match gameplay by linking your experience with the real world happenings in football. Suspensions, injuries, team morale and performance will all be linked in this new feature that FIFA Producer, David Rutter revealed during the piece.
Innovations include all new first touch control, attacking intelligence and dribbling. We will have expanded seasons with 2v2 online co-op play. Division titles have been added with a new trophy cabinet to show them off in. The ‘Match Day’ feature will also affect gameplay. In-game stats will reflect on-pitch performance. Fixtures will change based on what’s happening in the real world.
FIFA 13 is due for European release on the 28th of September 2012
