EA announce Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel

Ahead of EA’s planned software showcase for today, the Army of Two publisher has announced a new flavour of the title. Called Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, this is Visceral Games new project, to be developed in DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine. EA have suggested that this new title will reset the series and offer a more intense, mature and grittier tone. This is a surprise as I, for one, thought the original has more grit than a yellow salt-box.
The story centres around ‘Alpha’ and ‘Bravo’ fighting a drugs war in Mexico, making use of their ability to unleash the power of “ultimate destruction”.
EA have slated this for release in March of 2013.
