Dunwall City Trials DLC coming soon for Dishonored
One of our review issues with Bethesda’s brilliant steampunk inspired Dishonored was that it ended rather too abruptly.
Well, some good news, especially if you’ve completed it already. Bethesda’s blog, Bethblog, has announced today that a new DLC pack is to be released in December. Called Dunwall City Trials and running at 400 MS Points, this will include 10 challenge maps that will track your stealth and mobility skills. It will also include 10 separate trials, including an arena battle against waves and waves of enemies. There will also be a run of drop assassinations and a good old race against the clock.
Dunwall City Trials will also feature a whole new set of achievements and trophies as well as a global online leaderboard that will chart the greatest assassins for each challenge.
Bethesda also announced that the second and third DLC add-ons will be coming in 2013 and will both be story-driven campaigns.
The focus of the 2nd pack will be Daud, the leader of a group of supernatural assassins known as ‘The Whalers’. This pack is due in spring. This will see you making your way through new locations in Dunwall, discovering Daud’s weapons, gadgets and powers along the way. As usual, the choices you make will affect the final outcome.
More details on the third pack and pricing for both will be revealed closer to their launch.
