Dogfight 1942 barrel-rolls onto XBLA

City Interactive have announced that Dogfight 1942 will be released onto Xbox Live Arcade later this year and while the appeal of 20 aircraft and aerial combat are obvious, you may be forgiven for thinking this looks all too familiar.
The eagle-eyed bunch amongst you would be right, as this has been confirmed as the digital release of Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War 2. I can’t help but harken back to the days of Midway.
Confirmed aircraft include the Spitfire & the P38 Lightening, including a flurry of detailed, historically accurate missions for the player. No release date or price point has been confirmed yet.
