Deus Ex: Human Revolution will get an Xbox 360 Director’s Cut
Deus Ex Human Revolution was a huge success upon release, with only a few niggles such as AI not being quite as balanced as it should be and boss fights needing a bit more work
These problems were spotted by Square-Enix and refined for their Wii-U exclusive release Deus Ex: Human Revolution-Director’s Cut, much to many fans anger and misery. For some time Square-Enix expressed no interest in porting this “definitive version” to other consoles and at one point flat-out said no to plans of doing so.
Well today Deus Ex fans can rejoice as it seems Square-Enix have changed their minds on that factor and we will be seeing an Xbox 360 release later this year.
Stéphane D’Astous, General Manager of Eidos-Montréal made the announcement earlier
“After our Director’s Cut announcement we received an overwhelming response from the community asking us to bring this ultimate edition of Human Revolution to other platforms, We’re thrilled to accommodate that request. We can now say with pleasure, ‘You asked for this!’”
Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut will also offer a full range of second screen features for SmartGlass (just as it did for the Wii-U with its gamepad) which will make make the touchscreen interface Adam Jensen’s primary neural hub enhancement
Tongs’s Rescue mission and the entire Missing Link chapter have been integrated seamlessly into the narrative flow of the Director’s Cut along with other core Deus Ex: Human Revolution augmentations which include an overhaul to all boss fights, improves AI and other features, plus you can expect to see over eight hours of developer commentary to boot!
