Cyberpunk 2077 is next for CD Projekt Red

The developers behind The Witcher series have announced their next title, based on the pen-and-paper Cyberpunk 2020 role-playing game.
Director Mateusz Kanik says that the team is excited to explore the dark future put across by the original game, created by Mike Pondsmith, and are keen to put their own take on it with a fiery passion.
The team is also said to be excited by the sci-fi “Blade Runner” type quality of the IP and even mention that aspects they couldn’t fit into The Witcher series can fit in here.
Between this and (the yet to be confirmed) Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red are certainly aiming high.
