Celebrate Far Cry 3′s release with nifty Facebook app

Ubisoft, those fun-loving developers that they are, have arranged a nifty Facebook app to celebrate the imminent release of the next instalment in the Far Cry series, Far Cry 3.
Now, obviously, you’ll need a Facebook account to take part, but if you head on over to apps.facebook.com/holidayfromhell you can create a Far Cry themed postcard to keep as a souvenir.
You can become Vaas’ hostage, buried up to your neck in sand, or bob along to the sound of your ukulele as a Wahine bobblehead to remember your holiday from hell as you create and share your own postcard.
What’s more, you can use the app to make the postcard your timeline header image and if you’re one of the first 2000 to create your postcard, you can have it printed and posted out to you via Royal Mail, free of charge.
You can also share this to your friends’ walls or send it as an email.
At least you won’t have to sit through hours and hours of holiday slides.
Far Cry 3 is scheduled for release on the 28th of November.
