Call of Duty: Ghosts steals a march on E3 2013
Activision and Infinity Ward have stolen a march on E3 this year by hosting a 30 minute all access gameplay preview of the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Included in this preview, presented with Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg is exclusive gameplay footage from the level; Into The Deep. This is an underwater stealth level which promises an all action and nail-biting conclusion.
This gameplay footage is taken directly from next-gen hardware, although they don’t let us know which new hardware this is.
After this is an interview with COD: Ghosts writer Stephen Gaghan. For those of you who follow his career, you’ll recognise the writer of Traffic and director of Syriana. Stephen talks about the story dynamics and if he brings anything like as much detail to this as he brought to those then this should be excellent.
Infinity Ward’s Executive Producer, Mark Rubin also announces the official name of the Call of Duty dog. You’ll just have to watch the video below to find out what that is though. We also get to see the dog in action, working in tandem with a two-man team.
If you’re lucky enough to be at E3 2013 it’ll be worth heading over to the Ghosts booth, they have a 122ft widescreen area to display the game on. Stunning stuff indeed.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is due out this autumn with the date listed on this trailer of 5th November.
