Gearbox Software’s president Randy Pitchford confirmed at PAX Prime that Brothers In Arms: Furious 4 will no longer be attached to the Brothers In Arms franchise.
Pitchford told Brothers In Arms fans:
“I wanted to let everyone know that that game’s no longer going to be a Brothers In Arms game; It’s going to be an all-new IP, [the developers have] pushed the gameplay loop, they got into a place that got away from the core of the Brothers In Arms franchise. [And] it’s evolved even farther, and it needed to be unshackled.”
This is great news, especially since the developers are making a change which is best for the Brothers In Arms brand and for the new IP.
