Borderlands 2 Pre-order Golden Key details revealed

You may, or may not have decided to pre-order Borderlands 2. If you have you may have already received a pre-order exclusive Golden Key code, or maybe you’ve been lucky enough to have attended an event where Gearbox software have given some out, or maybe an online event somewhere. Either which of the myriad of ways you could have obtained this key, now what do you do with it?
Well, detailed on Gearbox’s forums, we have an answer. In the game they have revealed there is a friendly city of Sanctury, which it will take you around two hours of intense gameplay to reach. Once there, there is a golden chest, which this key will open to reveal a very rare (purple) item of loot for your character, but there’s a catch.
The catch? Well, the item is scaled to your character’s level at the time, so the dilemma you face will be whether to grab the loot there & then or to come back when your level is higher to grab an even better bit of loot. You cannot trade or sell your Golden Key either, so you’ll have to choose carefully. You will be able to sell the loot you get though, or trade it, or even stash it.
Borderlands 2 is out on September the 21st so you haven’t got long to pre-order or make up your mind.
I couldn’t make that choice. I have trouble deciding which shirt to wear in the morning.
