Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird Edition revealed

Two new special editions of Bioshock Infinite have been revealed by Irrational Games boss Ken Levine.

Starting off with the most lavish - the Ultimate Songbird Edition includes a nine-and-a-half-inch statue of an iconic in-game enemy. This will cost you $149.99 (around £93). You’ll also get a 64-page artbook, a 25mm Handyman figurine, a propaganda poster, a 3″ Murder of Crows bottle keychain and the digital soundtrack.

In-game items include three power-ups: Bull Rush – to strike down foes when you melee; Extra! Extra! – to earn money from collecting audio logs; and Betrayer – to see enemies explode in a damaging ball of flames upon death.

If you’re buying this for Xbox 360, you’ll also get a Booker and Elizabeth Avatar costume. If you’re a massive fan of Bioshock, then I certainly see the incentive to buy this bundle.

You can check out the Ultimate Songbird Edition here.

The standard Special Edition will include all of the above, bar the large statue. This will cost $79.99, which comes to about £50.

European pre-orders begin this Monday, 22nd October. More concise pricing will be available then.

Bioshock Infinite launches on 26th February 2012.
