Bethesda unwilling to comment on Dragonborn DLC

Bethesda has taken the usual approach to rumours, by offering “no comment” on the update files found for Skyrim on PC.

The files found contained information on a DLC expansion pack called Dragonborn, which suggests players will be able to fly around Tamriel on dragon mounts or some sort of scripted journey on one.

The DLC apparently takes place on an island called Solstheim, to the East of Skyrim. Other findings within the Skyrim patch beta 1.8 source code reveal the possible additional new locations called Raven Rock, Miraak Temple, Castle Karstaag and Telvanni Tower. Together with new armour types named Bonemold, Chitin, Nordic and Stalhrim. As well as the possibility of Bethesda adding new mount based spell casting features in the next DLC.

It may only be speculation, but it’s still makes an interesting read.
