Battlefield Premium sold over 1.3 million subscriptions
Yesterday saw EA’s quarterly earnings report for fiscal Q1 2013, which revealed that an impressive 1.3 million subscriptions were sold for Battlefield Premium.
In relation to Battlefield, there is also something else coming in 2014, although nothing is known right now. Moving onto the distribution service Origin, which has managed to hit 21 million users. Not really surprising considering just about every EA game requires you to register an account.
Finally, the company’s net revenue came to $491 million, in which 66 per cent came from digital revenue. I guess we’re now in a digital age as they say.
EA’s overall net income was down from last year’s $221 million, as it came in at $201 million.
