Activision celebrates 4th of July with a Call of Duty DLC blowout sale

Activision are celebrating the 4th of July by slashing 50% off their DLC back catalogue for Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for an entire week from today.

The discount CoD DLC lines up like this:

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1 (600MSP)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #2 (600MSP)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike (600MSP)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation (600MSP)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation (600MSP)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection (600MSP)

All six packs would normally cost 1200MSP, and Activision will donate a portion of all sales towards the Call of Duty Endowment – a non-profit organisation that provides job placement and training services for war veterans.

The 4th of July is Independence Day in the US, an annual holiday commemorating the adoption of the declaration of independence in 1776 – the date the country officially split from Great Britain.
