UK Publisher, 505 Games have announced that next summer we will be treated to Ashes Cricket 2013.
This will tie in with the cricketing action happening in 2013, to decide if England keep or lose The Urn.
Ironically, the game is being developed by Australian developer, Trickstar Games who promises the most authentic cricket experience to date and will boast licenses from the ECB and Cricket Australia.
National rivalries, venues and player personalities are to be captured perfectly, so can we expect Kevin Pietersen to start texting the Aussies or could this be his only chance at playing in the next Ashes?
Ralph Pitt-Stanley, General Manager for UK & Export at 505 Games said:
2013 is another big year for International Cricket and it doesn’t get much bigger than the Ashes Series. The oldest rivalry in the sport recommences on the 10th of July 2013, with the back to back Ashes Series in the UK and Australia so it’s a really exciting time to be working with the ECB, Cricket Australia and such a great development partner as Trickstar on this product and we can’t wait to share more details with fans everywhere.
Further details will be released exclusively over the coming months via the official game forums at AshesCricket2013.com but we are sure to keep you up-to-date with further developments.
