They are definitely better than the first game and will create many chances for you to boost achievements with your friends seeing as none of the achievements are ranked match based! Due to the nature of these achievements we are advising you not to read any further due to the amount of spoilers contained in the list… I’m already partially regretting knowing these achievements! Many of you will be familiar with the nigh-on impossible to obtain ‘Seriously’ achievement from Gears of War, In order to get this achievement, worth 50 points, the player needs to kill 10,000 people in online multiplayer. Pretty hardcore, No? It would seem not, as Bizzarre, Currently developing The Club have put their humour hats on and gone to town.
The newly revealed achievement called ‘No, Seriously’ requires players to rack up 10,001 kills in online multiplayer. Har-de-har. The achievement will net you 40 points and ascend you to a whole new level of hardcore leetness. Well played Bizzare.
Turok was the root of a lot of criticism lately, namely due to the fact that players would be awarded an achievement for killing team mates. The achievement ‘Grab Bag’ required that playes kill ‘1 Enemy, 1 Creature, 1 Team mate and Yourself.’ Masses of gamers let the developer, Propaganda Games know exactly what they thought of the achievement and as a result, Propaganda have removed the achievement via a patch that will be downloaded on first play of the game.
It would seem that gamers are getting tired of these ridiculous achievements, Hopefully prompting other developers to put a bit more thought into the process. Hopefully.
StripClubDJ may be a name that you recognise, Officially the top gamer on 360 with a current total of 245,825 gamerpoints, seems to be tiring of the grind. Apparantly, He is selling his gamertag which “cant sign onto live but it still works and it is #1″ to the highest bidder. Distasteful? Maybe. Imaginative? Definately.
