We’re getting reports that the Microsoft Ban Hammer has crashed down again, this time targeting Gears of War 2 and Call of Duty 5 pirates. Heres one quote from one angry forum user:
ooh well, dammit! this sux ass! was sittin’ here catchin’ up on some hulu stuff… and low and behold i get a message, disconnected from xbl. didn’t think much of it. then i’m imin’ with a friend of mine, and he asks, can you get on xbl… test connection… YOU’VE BEEN BANNED!!! argh. owell”
Oh well cant say we didn’t warn you! Another member believes it isn’t anything to do with Gears of War 2 saying:
“I did NOT play gear of war early, i played if for the first time to day. So this does not only affect those who played gears early.”
There’s one thing in common in these comments (No, not their very bad grammar and spelling) They all have modified Xbox’s so here’s a warning kids - Don’t play with mod kits!
Microsoft have announced 2 new limited edition flavours for your 360 wireless controllers. [Comrade] Red and Lime Green.
Im not sure what to make of these, The red one is certainly soviet and the green one makes me feel strange inside. What do you think, Let us know!

Ahead of E3, Microsoft have announced a new model to replace the 20GB currently available. The model will release in the US and Canada in August for around $349 and production of the 20GB model will cease to continue. All stock of the 20GB model is being reduced to $299 (Around £151).

UK retailers Game, Gamestation and Play.com are reporting that their preorder stocks of GTA IV are all but expended. Players wanting to cash in on the offers of free Gamerpics and MSPoints may well be out of luck with all retailers saying that copies ordered after April 7th may not arrive at your doorstep on release day. Makes me glad I had mine ordered last year…

Its official.. Microsofts HD-DVD has ceased production and is now limited to what retailers have in stock. The price is going to drop to £39.99 within the coming weeks and there are still around 500 titles available to buy which should drop in price aswell.
