This isn’t something that we would of guessed to be included into Call of Duty: World at War but it is and there isn’t anything we can do about it! Apparently its you and a team of players fighting against hordes of Zombies in waves and completion of rounds will earn you cash so you can build barricades and buy weapons. Now this does sound familiar with Left 4 Dead coming soon and of course Gears of War 2’s Horde mode but fighting Nazi Zombies definitely has some appeal.
Now we know what you are thinking and no we didnt make this up… see.
Tut tut tut, those nasty pirates have been at it again and have managed to get there hands on a copy of Fallout 3 before release. According to several Internet sources the game was leaked prior to mass production and has now hit several torrent sharing sites. Now as supporters of Xbox 360 we recommend you stay well away from pirated games as piracy is bad and you will go to Hell* for all of your sins towards the gaming industry and Bethesda.

According to several Internet sources Gears of War 2 has gone gold, a full 28 days before release! Lets hope that its bug and glitch free! We personally can’t wait to play this game so to celebrate we will be hosting a Gears of War 2 Team Tournament soon.. keep your eyes peeled!
Are Ubisoft going mad? We think so over here at Xboxer towers. Ubisoft have announced that EndWar will be released on 7th November - now why does this date ring bells in our heads? oh yes thats right its the same day as Gears of War 2 - not much competition then! We really feel that this is going to be a one horse race so expect Ubisoft to delay EndWar by a week with some lame reason about shipping or something.
We we’re a bit dubious about posting this so we’re not going to go into depth. Several rumours suggest that the NXE Dashboard Update is going to be released on 25th September backed up by a 5 hour countdown on TV. We must point out that this is very much a rumour and we wish it to stay that way until an official announcement is made. We were always told that NXE is due late November and Major Nelson confirmed this at PAX last week, so once again don’t go by what anyone says until we have official word.
The rumours also carry on with Microsoft giving away six free original xbox titles, and one of them is ‘confirmed’ to be Halo. Several other items suggest that we have a ton of new content to buy as well as the announced updates. Wait theres more… Apprantly a few new titles will be announced including Assassins Creed 2, Mass Effect 2 and a new Conker title. All of this news seems very interesting but highly unlikly.. we wait to be proven wrong.
Update: We can confirm that the release date is 31st October and not the 3rd.
Officially Fallout 3 was stated for release on 31st October but in an email we received this morning from GameStation suggests that Fallout 3 is coming on 3rd October? With a quick check on the calendar we can confirm that the 3rd is a friday, which is release day for the UK so a typo was out of the question. We’re going to investigate this a little further and update you all later!
The UK has just been issued with a confirmed release date for Call of Duty: World at War. Call of Duty 5 will hit our shores on November 14th, one week after Gears of War 2. We think its a little too close to Gears of War 2 to make a real impact but with an open beta arriving in the next few weeks it may just help.
Last week we brought you the Gears of War 2 achievement list and this week we bring you Fallout 3’s achievement list full of RPG goodness. We understood quite some time ago that unlike Oblivion, Fallout 3 would require several playthroughs to gain all the achievements and today we have discovered that this is true… I’m personally looking forward to completing the game and aquiring all of the level achievements with Bad Karma - yes I am evil. At long last we have a official confirmed release date for Fallout 3. All of us in the EU will see Fallout drop into stores on 31st October (Same release day as Dead Space) and the US will see Fallout 3 on 28th October. We officially cant wait for our Lunch Box Preorders to come through.. have your pre-ordered yours?
We have just had confirmation that Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise demo has been submitted to Microsoft for certification and should be released ’soon’. You will get to play 25 minutes of the main game, just like the demo fir the first hit game Viva Piñata. Now seeing as there isn’t any chainsaws or random acts of violence in the game we can’t see the certification taking too long and for those of you who played the original will certainly know that this is a very addictive game so be prepared to be sucked into the world of Piñata’s.

Bad news people.. No images can be found for this news post, we also had problems locating some cake.. spooky. Portal Still Alive is going to be an exclusive to Xbox Live Arcade and this time around its going to be harder… according to GlaDoS. There was much said about this game so we will leave it in your hands untill we scope out some more information.
First of all we apologise for the bad image above.. It’s the best we can do at short notice! Lets get down to business, Lips is a brand new karaoke game for the Xbox 360. So what makes this different to the other karaoke games around? First the mic has a pulsing light that reacts to your singing, it will probably light up red if I ever try to sing on it. Secondly do you have a Zune or iPod? Of course you do! Well you can hook up your media player and download songs onto your Xbox to perform on the game how cool is that! To top it all off Duffy arrived on the main stage at E3 and performed her hit song ‘Mercy’ on Lips and it was actually a really good show on how good the game is! More details coming soon!
Resident Evil 5 now has a solid release date 13th March 2009, I wonder if thats a Friday? Of course it is! We see a few mins of gameplay in co-op and it was quite stunning, the graphics are very dark and the sound seems spot on. The game is based around Chris Redfield who now works for the VSAA and also comes complete with a female sidekick. Watch this space for more news on Resident Evil 5.
The opening video to this is fantastic, we will try to hunt it down online and bring it to you, simply because we’re nice like that. After watching the trailer we we’re greeted with 5 min gameplay. Located outside a vault we see several enemies, weapons and features of the game which were all very stunning, especially the graphics. Fancy some DLC? Well you’re in luck! Xbox 360 will be host to a load of ‘Exclusive’ DLC. We can’t wait!
