So the game releases this Friday in the UK and what better way could we celebrate the launch with an Achievement Guide? It’s been a while since we have posted any guides and with thanks to OXM UK heres the guide the get that Achievement sound popping! This guide shows you how to get married, teach your dog tricks and of course how to dress like a goth! Now this isn’t a full guide but it is enough to net you a very nice amount of gamerscore.
Last week we brought you the Gears of War 2 achievement list and this week we bring you Fallout 3’s achievement list full of RPG goodness. We understood quite some time ago that unlike Oblivion, Fallout 3 would require several playthroughs to gain all the achievements and today we have discovered that this is true… I’m personally looking forward to completing the game and aquiring all of the level achievements with Bad Karma - yes I am evil. Shh! We have a secret that we would like to share with you all… Gears of War 2 achievements. They are definitely better than the first game and will create many chances for you to boost achievements with your friends seeing as none of the achievements are ranked match based! Due to the nature of these achievements we are advising you not to read any further due to the amount of spoilers contained in the list… I’m already partially regretting knowing these achievements! Many of you will be familiar with the nigh-on impossible to obtain ‘Seriously’ achievement from Gears of War, In order to get this achievement, worth 50 points, the player needs to kill 10,000 people in online multiplayer. Pretty hardcore, No? It would seem not, as Bizzarre, Currently developing The Club have put their humour hats on and gone to town.
The newly revealed achievement called ‘No, Seriously’ requires players to rack up 10,001 kills in online multiplayer. Har-de-har. The achievement will net you 40 points and ascend you to a whole new level of hardcore leetness. Well played Bizzare.
Turok was the root of a lot of criticism lately, namely due to the fact that players would be awarded an achievement for killing team mates. The achievement ‘Grab Bag’ required that playes kill ‘1 Enemy, 1 Creature, 1 Team mate and Yourself.’ Masses of gamers let the developer, Propaganda Games know exactly what they thought of the achievement and as a result, Propaganda have removed the achievement via a patch that will be downloaded on first play of the game.
It would seem that gamers are getting tired of these ridiculous achievements, Hopefully prompting other developers to put a bit more thought into the process. Hopefully.
StripClubDJ may be a name that you recognise, Officially the top gamer on 360 with a current total of 245,825 gamerpoints, seems to be tiring of the grind. Apparantly, He is selling his gamertag which “cant sign onto live but it still works and it is #1″ to the highest bidder. Distasteful? Maybe. Imaginative? Definately.
