Prototype – Demo

According to PlayStationLive:
‘We now know that Prototype will be released early June, but we now have reports coming in that the demo will be available on the PlayStation Network (PCÂ &Â Xbox 360Â Live also) in the first couple of weeks next month.
The Demo is likely to feature the first level of the game and might include a mini level to go with it. The key aspect of the game is obviously ‘disguise and destroy’, you will be able to shape shift into almost everything and the game is promised to be a huge hit. You will be able to run up walls, fly, a destroy almost anything.’

Anyone that saw the early ‘10 reasons to play…’ video will almost certainly be on the same level as me when I say ‘Bring on the Demo and the Game!’

this is so infuriating, i was sure they were gonna put a demo out
it doesn’t look like they will though, the PSN is updated every week, i dunno how it works with X-Box Live but im so hacked off with this!

speshully on the PS3 front seeing as an Infamous demo came out on the Playstation network, lots of my friends have been saying that without anything to compare it to they might just play it safe and get infamous which is relatively fun
btw thats their quotes, i played the demo and whilst it prooved it wasnt as bad as i thought i would be im sticking with prototype, infamous just doesnt have the same feel to it!

because first it was the 22nd then 24th then 25th. so i have no idea when it will come out

im guessin that if it does come out it’ll be around the 28th or the 4th OR the 12th
these are only guesses really for the playstation version cos the playstation store is updated every week on a thursday
it could be different for xbox and pc though
to be honest it doesn’t really look like there is gonna be much point if they dont put one out soon cos people will just buy it or infamous

today is the last day of may and theres no demo. im not obssed with the game but i do think it will be fun playing it but i believe theres no demo coming out. I think itll cause more people to buy it right away then to play the demo over and over agian and eventually get bored of it.

I think not releasing a demo, or not till after the game is released is the STUPIDEST IDEA EVER. The people making the game should LISTEN TO THE GAMERS! I dont understand how stupid they can be. Its simple logic really.
Everyone and their mother is comparing prototype to Infamous. Well infamous is also ’sandbox’ so that reason for no demo is bs. The fact infamous has a demo is the reason their sales will skyrocket and prototype will shit themselves for being so stupid. Hmm, buy a computer you know nothing about, or buy the computer you tried out at the store and realize it will live up to its potential? Same concept goes with everything in this world.
$60 is a lot these days, so taking a shot in the dark, vs. buying a game you already tried and realized its AWESOME.. the answer is clear. All devs are idiots these days (killzone demo), demos are supposed to be released BEFORE the game comes out so they get explosive sales on release date.Basic Marketing.

what are you smoking? Dragon age is out for ps3, and what a bout God of war 3, Killzone 2, Infamous, Metal Gear Solid and Uncharted 2? As i recall the Xbox 360 can only run up too 720p while the Ps3 can run up to 1080p… need i say more?
Anyways, i rly hope they come out with the demo, i was rly hoping to play it so i could figure out if i want it for christmas
