First Big Crash 5GS
Awarded for crashing and totaling a car. Brought to you by Progressive Insurance!
In any race, go FAST and crash your car to a wall, pole etc. or you can try to flip your car over. These will result you to total your car and gain this achievement.
Race Day Victory 10GS
Awarded for winning a Career Race Day.
In Career, there are Race Days that you have to compete in. Each Race Day consist of different amount of Events (for example Drag, Drift, Grip). You have to compete in these events and gain points to win Race Days. The better your position is, the more points you will get. You can see how many points you have by checking the “Race Day Progress”, which is the first option on the left, in Race Day. It says how many points you currently have, and how many points are needed to win the Race Day.
Tips for races:
1. Obviously, try to win. You get more points if you win a race.
2. Try not to damage your vehicle. You get an extra 500 pts after the race if you manage NOT to damage your car at all.
3. Be fast. The faster you finish a race, the more points you will get.
4. If you just can’t win a race, change your Assist level to “Casual”. This will make the races a lot easier. You can do this in the Main Menu and choosing Options. You can also change your Assist level during a race.

Grip – Nissan Skyline
Speed – Lamborgini Murcielago
Drift – Mazda RX-7
Domination 15GS
Awarded for dominating a Career Race Day.
See “Race Day Victory”. Only this time winning a Race Day isn’t enough. You have to dominate it., which is basically the same as winning a Race Day, except you only need more points to dominate a Race Day than you need to win. You can see how many points you have by checking the “Race Day Progress”, which is the first option on the left, in Race Day. It says how many points you currently have, and how many points are needed to dominate the Race Day.
Paparazzi 15GS
Awarded when you upload your car photo to NeedforSpeed.com
One of the easiest, if not the easiest achievement in the game. Just take a photo of your car and upload it to needforspeed.com and you have earned yourself this achievement. You can even take photos of your car during a race. Press pause and choose “Photo Mode”.
Share a Blueprint 10GS
Successfully share a Blueprint with another player
See “Blueprint Master”.
Blueprint Apprentice 15GS
Awarded when your Blueprint has been shared 5 times.
See “Blueprint Master”.
Race Day Coordinator 15GS
Awarded when your Race Day has been shared 5 times.
See “Race Day Organizer”.
Safe Driver 50GS
Finish 5 Career or Ranked Race Days with no car damage. Brought to you by Progressive Insurance!
You have to manage not to take any damage during five Race Days. You can get this by playing Career, or ranked online Race Days. You don’t have to win these Race Days.
Manual Transmission 10GS
Won 5 times in a non-Drag event using Manual Transmission.
As the description says, you can’t get this in a Drag event. If you are having serious troubles with Manual Transmission in non-Drag events, I’ll suggest you to use Manual Transmission in Drift events. At the beginning of a Drift race, you have to switch gear a few times (you can switch gear by pressing up and down the right thumbstick), after that you can just drive and drift all the way to the finish line without switching a gear again (this method worked for me and I got lots of points). Play the Drift races in the Battle Machine region, because they are shorter and easier races than in other regions. Make sure that you have put your Transmission to Manual instead of Automatic. You can change it in the Options at the Main Menu.
If you are not good with Manual Transmission, you can also try to use it in Speed events. Should be easy, since you don’t have to shift after the start.
Clutch 15GS
Won 5 times in a Drag event using Clutch.
The description is slighty misleading. You have to win 5 Drag EVENTS using Clutch to earn this achievement. One Drag Event includes 3 drag races, so its 15 drag races total. You can choose to use the Clutch in the Options at the Main Menu. I don’t have any tips for this one really. If you’re good at Drag racing without Clutch, even with Clutch on you shouldn’t have a problem winning a Drag race. You can use Clutch by pressing the LB-button.
Perfect Tire Grip 10GS
Awarded for having maximum tire grip in drag staging
When you choose to play a Drag race, before the actual race you have to heat your tires. This happens by pressing/holding the right trigger. There is a green bar showing how well are you heating your tires. You have to get it full. If you manage to get the bar full, don’t stop heating your tires. You have to keep it full until the time runs out. You got 10 seconds to do that. The timer is shown at the top. You get the achievement AFTER you finish that Drag race.
Keep on Wheelin’ 5GS
Wheelie 50 or more feet in a Wheelie Competition
Easier than you might think. Wheelie can be performed almost by any car with enough horse power. You can get 1000+ feet easily with these settings: Buy a muscle car, for example Dodge Charger. Buy everything to it, level 3 engine, level 3 suspensions etc. Tune your suspensions, put all rear suspension to soft and front suspensions to stiff. Make sure to set your ride height to high. When you enter a wheelie competition, before the actual race get incredible or max grip. When the race starts, get perfect launch. You should get perfect shifts every time too. When you get to gear 3, press “b” to use your nitrous. Get perfect shifts after the nitrous too and you’re golden.
Co-op Victory 20GS
Achieved when all 8 players in a multiplayer Race Day score a total of 10,000 points.
Ranked or Unranked, doesn’t matter. As the description says, 8 players have to compete in a multiplayer race day to get this achievement. They all have to get 10,000 pts in that Race Day.
Race Day Leader 15GS
Rank 1st on the leaderboard for a shared Race Day. Leaderboard must have at least 3 players.
Share your Race Day with 2 of your friends, and tell them to let you win.
Race Day Organizer 25GS
Awarded when your Race Day has been shared 25 times.
Use the same method than in “Blueprint Master”, only this time you have to share Race Days.
Blueprint Master 25GS
Awarded when your Blueprint has been shared 25 times.
You can share Blueprints only with players on your friends list. You don’t have to send your Blueprint to 25 different people. You can do this with the help of one friend. Send 25 Blueprints to your friend and tell him/her to accept them. Altough you can’t send them all at once, your friend has to accept the Blueprint before you can send another one. After sharing 25 Blueprints, go to the Main Menu, you’ll get the achievement there.
Community Race Day 1 15GS

Best Blueprint 50GS
Your Blueprint is used by a player in the Top 100 on any weekly Freestyle Race Day leaderboard.
Check the weekly TOP 100 leaderboards. Ask if one of those players could help you with this achievement.
Another way: Play any of the Freestyle Race Days. Get to the TOP 100 on that Race Day. After managing to get to the TOP 100, play that same Race Day with your own Blueprint. After one event you should get this achievement.
EA Moderator 25GS
Beat an EA Moderator in a Ranked Online Multiplayer race
You have to beat an EA Moderator in a RANKED online multiplayer race. I don’t know how many EA Moderators are there and who is playing ProStreet actively, but at least I do know one. His gamertag is EA Torque. Try asking him if he could race against you.
8 Player Race 10GS
Competed in an online multiplayer race against 7 human opponents
Ranked or Unranked, doesn’t matter. You have to finish an online multiplayer race against 7 human opponents. You don’t have to win, though.
Friction Fever 10GS
Catch Friction Fever by playing an Online Grip race with an infected player.
Ranked or Unranked, doesn’t matter. Finish an online Grip race with an infected player. You can check who is infected by looking at their gamer profile. If they have this achievement, they are infected.
Gear Strain 10GS
Catch the Gear Strain by playing an Online Drag race with an infected player.
Ranked or Unranked, doesn’t matter. Finish an online Drag race with an infected player. You can check who is infected by looking at their gamer profile. If they have this achievement, they are infected.
Horsepower Challenge 10GS
Increase your Car’s HP by 25. Brought to you by K&N – THE Performance Air Filter
In career mode, you can buy new parts to your car to increase its stats. Increase your car’s Power by buying a level 3 Engine and other stuff and you should get this achievement.
Performance Upgrade 10GS
Modify a Tier 1 car into a Tier 3 car. Brought to you by K&N – The Original High-Flow Air Filter
Buy a Nissan 240 SX and set it to Drag mode. Then buy a level 2 Engine to it and you’ll unlock this achievement.
Ryo’s Record 1 15GS
Beat Ryo’s Record within Battle Machine at Grip at Chicago Airfield in Career

After you have beat all 3 Showdowns, you unlock the Race Days against Showdown King. Be prepared to every race type there is: Drift, Drag, Grip, Speed! Be sure to bring all your best cars when you play against Showdown King.
Grip Master 15GS
Awarded for unlocking the GEffect Org in Career.
When you play Career mode and win/dominate Race Days and Showdowns you will eventually unlock this achievement.
Drift Master 15GS
Awarded for unlocking the Noise Bomb Org in Career.
When you play Career mode and win/dominate Race Days and Showdowns you will eventually unlock this achievement.
Speed Master 15GS
Awarded for unlocking the Nitrocide Org in Career.
